PEACE OF THE REAL WORLD

Dear Friend in Peace,

When truth is considered an unnecessary inconvenience, people are treated callously and vital institutions are being destroyed, it is ours as People of Peace to speak up for democracy while still maintaining inner peace. One powerful source of strength and tranquility for us is to connect with what is real, to connect with the soothing balm of Mother Nature and our true nature which is Love.

I have recently been blessed by three precious real world experiences with fellow beings. Photos and descriptions follow. May they bring you the awe, gratitude, and peace they brought me.

Myakka River State Park blessing My dear friend Pam and I were enthralled by the sight of these puffed-up male Turkeys displaying their beauty for an apparently unimpressed female.
Backyard blessing #1. This ruby-throated hummingbird is real and the excitement and peace I feel in her presence is real as well. I could watch her for hours if she were to hold still that long.
Backyard blessing #2. This male Painted Bunting is a rainbow of inspiration to behold. If you look closely, you will see he is eating a kernel of white millet, a favorite of Buntings. Inhale his beauty. May you feel peace permeate every cell in your body.

Your peace is essential to helping us all remember: we love one another.

Yours in peace and love always,
Donna
