We are one in peace and love.

I choose this photo to go with our focus on the Peace of Inspiration because, to me, clouds are Divine whispers of hope, of peace, of shifting to greater good. Looking at this cloud I feel hope, I feel empowered to take responsibility for my peace and for speaking out for liberty and justice for all in our nation and our world. Peace is possible and it begins within me, within you, within each and all of us.

PEACE OF INSPIRATION - Frances Perkins
Dear Friend in Peace,
Maintaining and sustaining inner peace is our goal and responsibility.
Witnessing our nation's commitment to "Liberty and Justice for all," continue to be demolished in the pursuit of money and power for a few is difficult indeed. Fortunately, we can draw inspiration and hope from others who have also faced profoundly challenging times and yet stood up peacefully and powerfully for the rights of everyone.
Many important elements of what we expect from and have appreciated about our government have come from the administration of Franklin Roosevelt. The 40-hour work week, Social Security, abolition of child labor and many other reforms and were a direct result of President Roosevelt appointing Frances Perkins to be the Secretary of Labor and the very first woman to be a member of a Presidential Cabinet. She was a force of nature and a powerful advocate for equality and justice which are linchpins of peace. Her words say it all:
Peace flows within a nation when there is liberty and justice for all. Peace flows within each of us as we speak up for the rights of all. May Frances Perkins' commitment to the "best possible life," for everyone, inspire us to do the same. When we put our efforts into the greater good of all, we become instruments of peace and love.
Please read the following aloud to yourself and/or others:
May Peace Flow
May I think thoughts of loving kindness for myself
May I speak words of loving kindness for myself
May I act with loving kindness for myself
May I think thoughts of loving kindness for all
May I speak words of loving kindness for all
May I act with loving kindness for all
May Peace flow within my heart
May Peace flow within my body
May Peace flow within my mind
May Peace flow in all hearts
May peace flow in all bodies
May peace flow in all minds
Every moment is an opportunity for us to choose PEACE by stopping, and by allowing peace to be our breath, our steps, our heartbeat, our guide and our constant companion. May peace be our priority and our gift to the world.
I look forward to hearing your thoughts, successes, challenges, and ideas for creating more peace in YOUR heart.
Thank you for choosing peace in your thoughts, words and actions. I welcome, encourage, and enjoy your comments and suggestions.
Yours in peace and love always,
Donna
