PEACE OF PAUSING

Dear Friend in Peace,

Some days we simply need to pause, to allow ourselves to do less and exhale more. This Labor Day weekend is one of those for me, so I am sharing something short, special and very peaceful. I hope it will be for you too. It's a photo I took in Bhutan when my dear friend Ali and I travelled there in 2012.

Bhutan has been called: "The Peaceful Kingdom," and it lived up to its name. Everywhere we went people were kind, happy, helpful, and peaceful. There were reminders of peace and loving kindness everywhere we looked in the form of Prayer Flags and Prayer Wheels. It was a powerful lesson for us in the importance of surrounding ourselves with reminders of peace.

It was love, joy, and peace all in one at first sight of this precious flower. I was transfixed by this majestic Buttonhead Primrose (Primula capitata). Its softness speaks of harmony, gentleness, joy, and profound peace. May its beauty, softness and grace bring you home to peace now and throughout the week.

Thank you for your commitment to peace and for creating peace in your life day by day, breath by breath. Your peace blesses us all.

I look forward to hearing your thoughts, successes, challenges, and ideas for creating more peace in YOUR heart.
Thank you for choosing peace in your thoughts, words and actions. I welcome, encourage, and enjoy your comments and suggestions.

Yours in peace and love always,
Donna
