PEACE OF SELF LOVE - TAKE 2
Dear Friend in Peace,
Think of the most loving, generous, kind person you have ever known. Close your eyes and feel that person's presence. Savor the way you feel when you are with them or think of them. For me, this is easy despite the fact I know so many loving and kind souls among my family, friends,and neighbors, who radiate kindness and love.
The one who stands out for me is the person who made me feel loved when I was young: my Grandma, a most gentle, kind soul. Her lasting blessings to me and to all who knew her was described perfectly by Maya Angelou: "People will forget what you said, people will forget what you did, but people will never forget how you made them feel."
Grandma Made me feel safe and loved. Maybe you too have such a person in your life now or in your past and maybe not. Fortunately, it does not matter because, in truth, Divine Love flows to and through each of us in every moment. In order to feel that love, the one whom we truly need to love us is ourself. It's easy to pass the buck, and assume love must come from others, the perfectionist in me surely has, but that's not true. Unless we love ourselves and believe we are worthy of love, we won't be able to fully accept Divine love or love from others. Isn't that remarkable? The love we so desperately have sought is within us. We must simply let go of old stories of unworthiness and believe we are okay, we are worthy and we are lovable!
Once we commit to loving ourselves, to believing we are lovable, we allow ourselves the blessing of peace as well. It simply flows, because when we feel loved, we feel safe and we feel peaceful. How wonderful is that! Our willingness to love ourselves blesses us twice! First, we feel loved and second, we feel peaceful. It gets even better because our willingness to love ourselves and to allow ourselves peace in each moment, each breath, creates more love and more peace in our world. Our self-love expands to help and bless all beings with love and peace.

Breathe out any debris
Breathe in Love
Breathe out woes
Breathe in Peace
Affirm aloud:
I am worthy
I am lovable
I am worthy of love
I love myself
----
Sit with that energy and allow Peace to flow within your being.
You are worthy, you are lovable and you are loved by Divine Love, yourself, me, and countless others you have met and shall meet. Once we embody the blessing of loving ourselves, peace flows within us with grace and ease. Thank you for loving you and bringing more peace and love into our world through your self love.
