I chose this photo to go with our focus on the Peace of Stopping because this majestic Phalaenopsis orchid commands my attention and helps bring me home to Peace through her silent splendor and calm exquisiteness. May she guide you home to Peace as well.

PEACE OF STOPPING
Dear Friend in Peace,
Blessings come in many disguises. I recently heard and observed myself attempting to organize upcoming appointments, commitments, and expectations for the next week in my head. Futile, exhausting, headache-making, unpeaceful, and a profound blessing because the misery of it all led me to stop!
Once I stopped allowing my mind to run amok and took charge, everything shifted and I realized I had created this mess, and it was up to me to take my power to fix it. Immediately, I raised my arms above my head in a V and visualized golden light, Divine Light streaming into my body. As I watched the Light, I affirmed: "Divine Light is healing every cell in my body." Within seconds I felt a softening in my mind and body as they were transformed from the misery of overwhelm into vessels of peace.
All that was required for this transformation was my willingness to stop and choose peace. Simply stopping shifted the energy from angst and freed me to create the inner conditions in which peace could prevail. May the power of stopping help us all create more peace in our lives and in our world.
Thank you for choosing peace, for choosing to focus on peace. Our peace matters, your peace matters and helps shift the energy of our communities and our nation. Thank you for keeping your focus on Peace, and in so doing, helping it manifest throughout our community, state, nation and world.
I look forward to hearing your thoughts, successes, challenges, and ideas for creating more peace within your heart. I welcome, encourage and enjoy your comments and suggestions.
Yours in peace and love always,
Donna
