I chose to share this photo from the Gulf with you because it embodies a time of rest and relief to me.
I love the serenity, the contrasts, and the powerful inspiration of it.
May this photo help us remember taking a time out, a respite, can sometimes be the most peaceful thing to do.
My peace, your peace, our peace matters.

PEACE OF RESPITE
Dear Friend in Peace,
Tonight’s posting is a respite for me after an intense and challenging week. According to the Merriam-Webster Dictionary, “Respite is a noun meaning an interval of rest or relief."
Thank you, my friends, for accepting and sharing this respite. Next week, I shall be back in full force. Peace dropped by today and said, “Stop!”
My shoulders shagged, mind opened, body relaxed, and I said, “Okay Peace, I shall.”
May we all be willing to allow ourselves to take a respite as needed. It is profoundly peaceful.
Your peace, my peace, our peace changes everything.
Thank you for choosing peace in your thoughts, words, and actions.
Yours in peace and love always,
Donna
