This photo was taken at Kissimmee Prairie Preserve State Park which is a global treasure of 54,000 acres.

As night approached, splendor blanketed the sky and awe captured my heart.
May PEACE reign in our hearts, minds, and lives.
As the song says: "Let there be peace on Earth and let it begin with me." May it be our daily mantra.

PEACE OF MOTHER NATURE
Dear Friend in Peace,

Ernie and I are savoring the blessings and profound Peace of our beloved Mother Earth by exploring some of the myriad fabulous natural blessings of Florida. Saturday night, we were lying in our tent at Kissimmee Prairie Preserve State Park watching the star-studded Milky Way through the mesh panel at the top of our tent. At around 6 am Sunday the stars were replaced by gentle, light raindrops on our faces. We checked radar, saw the approaching heavier rains, and sprang into action. Our next several hours were spent sheltering from rain, drying gear, and packing up between rains. All of which led to this message being delayed because it would not have been peaceful for me to write this any sooner. One of the 5 Guiding Principles of Venice Peace Project is "Anything and everything we do must feel peaceful or we choose not to do it." I am happy to say I am living by this principle more and more.
Skies sing to my heart and bring me home to peace instantly. This first photo was taken at the Gould Track of Lake Wales Ridge Wildlife and Environmental Area. This sight sent chills of joy to every cell in my body. Mother Earth and Father Sky joined in a majestic scene calling to my heart to open, to love, to become more and to embody peace.
Thank you for choosing peace in your thoughts, words, and actions.
Yours in peace and love always,
Donna
