PEACE OF LETTING GO
Dear Friend in Peace,
It's easy to think of peace as adding "one more thing," but the joyous news is that peace truly is letting go. Letting go of all that no longer serves us. The Peace of letting go grows as we relinquish fears, judgements, guilt, rules about what "should" be, thoughts of what "must be," and all such internal condemnations. As we release all the old gunk and patterns, we allow the sacred silence and power of peace to become our essence. Breath by breath, letting go of the internal heaviness, we allow ourselves to become the peace we wish to see in the world.
A few years back, I was given clear instructions by Divine Guidance when I asked how to be more peaceful. Here is the answer I was given: "Your final healing comes as you totally give up judgments and guilt." Simple, effective and, in my case, a work in progress. It's astounding how much more space we have internally when the "noise" stops. The space is peace, and its impact is blessed relief. Like most folks, I was taught it was important to judge, to evaluate, to critique and to "find out what's wrong." What joy to finally feel the openness and serenity of not needing to know or judge.
If you are like most of us, you won't become totally peaceful in a day, a month, or a year, but you can, and will, become more peaceful as you release the old, unnecessary, undesirable patterns and thoughts. As you know, my work is on judgment and guilt. Where do you need to start? What thoughts, judgments, stories are keeping you from being more peaceful? What could you release moment by moment and breath by breath that will bring more peace into your life?
Isn't it wonderful to know that you can start NOW? There is nothing to ADD, all you need do is let go of the Non-peace (judgments, guilt, etc.) within your mind. Not only will you feel and be more peaceful, but our world will have more peace!
Thank you for choosing peace in your thoughts, words, and actions.
Yours in peace and love always,
Donna
