I chose this photo to go with our focus on the Peace of Harmony because when this precious female Ruby-throated Hummingbird comes to my garden each day, she brings a harmonizing, joyous energy of peace with her. This wee being is about 3 inches long and weighs 0.1 - 0.2 ounces! Despite her miniscule size, she is the epitome of joy! Her wee presence brings a peaceful joy to my heart. May she inspire us to be constant in our commitment to the Peace of Harmony as we see her harmonizing impact on we humans as we all gather to marvel at her very existence. May we choose to harmonize with all and continue to strive to choose peace in every breath, thought, word, and action.

PEACE OF HARMONY
Dear Friend in Peace,
One of the wisdom bearers who has enriched my ongoing journey to peace is Hazrat Inayat Khan. In the early 1900's, he brought the teachings of Sufism to the Western world. He has guided and continues to guide me through the profound wisdom in his writing. At the end of his book, The Mysticism of Sound and Music, he offers sentences for us to repeat 10 - 20 times daily. Below are a few that flow with our focus on the Peace of Harmony and have helped me become more peaceful. May they bless you with greater harmony and peace as well.
Grant me Lord, thy wisdom, joy, and peace.
May my life become powerful and harmonious.
Harmonize my soul, Lord, with all people and with all conditions.
--Hazrat Inayat Khan--
I look forward to hearing your thoughts, successes, challenges, and ideas for creating more peace in YOUR heart. Albert recently offered this powerful addition to our list of ways of creating more peace within ourselves: Place your hands together and press directly into your heart to find your sea of tranquility. Then place your second, third and fourth fingers of your left hand into these indentations in your chest, raise your right hand and focus on the rising and falling of your chest as you follow your breath. Focus on the sensations, silence, and rhythm within. Say to yourself: "Ong Namo Guru Dev Namo (I bow to my highest self.) then say out loud: "Om Shanti - Peace."
Thank you, Albert, for this simple, powerful practice to help us nurture peace within our hearts.
Thank you for choosing peace, for choosing to focus on peace. Our peace matters, your peace matters and helps shift the energy of our communities and our nation. Thank you for keeping your focus on Peace, and in so doing, helping it manifest throughout our community, state, nation and world.
I look forward to hearing your thoughts, successes, challenges, and ideas for creating more peace within your heart. I welcome, encourage and enjoy your comments and suggestions.
Yours in peace and love always,
Donna
