BEING PEACE
Dear Friend in Peace,
Some things stay with us forever because they open our eyes and hearts to greater good. At age 10 or so, I played the part of a busy mother preparing for Christmas and spoke the final words which were also the title of the play: "I'll be glad when it's over!"
That simple sentence has helped shape my relationship with what matters and guided me to simplify my approach to life in general and to this blessed season of Light and Love.
It's easy to get caught up in the commercialized world of getting, buying, and doing, but if it's not peaceful, let's choose not to do it. (Guiding Principle #1 from Venice Peace Project.)
Instead, may we choose what fills our hearts with peace and allows us to be present as Peace. Our peace truly is the greatest gift we give ourselves and others.
May we BE the peace we came to be. (with gratitude to Mahatma Gandhi)
Thank you for choosing peace in your thoughts, words, and actions.
Yours in peace and love always,
Donna
