I chose this photo to go with our focus on becoming peace because it shows the process of releasing through the rain pouring down on Mother Earth and the process of becoming more peaceful through the image of expanding Light in the clouds and also through the beautiful soothing, peaceful energy of the waves coming ashore.
Many times I have walked the beach to release thoughts, worries and woes and to allow the gentle sounds of Mother Earth to soothe and heal my soul.
May this image remind us to release all that no longer serves and make room for peace within our hearts. As we do, our peace will radiate outward to expand throughout our community, state, nation, and world.

BECOMING PEACE

Dear Friend in Peace,

No one gives us peace, no one can. Peace is ours to embody, to become one thought, one breath, one heartbeat, and one step at a time. When peace is our goal, when we commit ourselves to becoming peace, everything changes. No one else is expected to behave differently, nothing else in the world needs to change in order for us to choose to become peace. It is our choice and ours alone.

We may walk this wonderful peace path together and many of us do, but the decisions, the choices, and commitment we make to peace are ours alone.

May I Become

May I become a transparent vessel of
Love
Compassion
and
Peace

With each breath out, I release angst, fear, and anger
With each breath in
I welcome Love
I welcome Compassion
I welcome Peace

With each breath out, I release angst, fear, and anger.
With each breath in

I become Love
I become Compassion

I BECOME PEACE

May we choose now to become peace.

I look forward to hearing your thoughts, successes, challenges, and ideas for creating more peace in YOUR heart. Albert recently offered this excellent addition to our list of ways of creating more peace within ourselves: Place your hands together and press directly into your heart to find your sea of tranquility. Then place your second, third and fourth fingers of your left hand into these indentations in your chest, raise your right hand and focus on the rising and falling of your chest as you follow your breath. Focus on the sensations, silence, and rhythm within. Say to yourself Ong namo guru dev namo (I bow to my highest self). Then say out loud "Om Shanti - Peace." Thank you, Albert!

Thank you for choosing peace in your thoughts, words and actions. I welcome, encourage and enjoy your comments and suggestions.

Yours in peace and love always,
Donna
