Dear Peace,
Thank you for always being present whether I feel you or not.
Thank you for helping me remember to breathe out fears, worries, and concerns.
Thank you for helping me breathe in your loving sustenance.
Thank you for helping me become a radiating center of peace and love for all.
Thank you for helping me silence my mind and listen to these loving, gentle words:
“Peace be still.”
I chose this photo of a Rose-rush (Lygodesmia aphylla) because of its profound beauty. The combination of purple and green is soothing and peaceful to my soul. Mother Nature blesses us with beauty, peace, and love in so many remarkable and majestic forms. As I look at this delicate flower, my heart fills with joy and peace. May it bring peace to your heart as well.

PEACE OF INSPIRATION - PART 4
Dear Friend in Peace,
As people of peace, it is ours to walk the path of peace with open, loving, compassionate hearts while standing up for the democratic principles of our nation of Liberty and Justice for all. As Dr. King expressed, "There can be no justice without peace. And there can be no peace without justice."
We have many inspiring guides on this peace path including Mahatma Gandhi who helped lead India to gain its independence through non-violent resistance. This gentle, powerful soul was a model for Dr. King in training others in the practice of nonviolent resistance.
Gandhi believed in justice, compassion, and peace for all, just as we do. His inspiring words speak to this eloquently:
“I offer you peace.
I offer you love.
I offer you friendship.
I see your beauty.
I hear your need.
I feel your feelings.”
― Mahatma Gandhi
His words speak lovingly of peace, compassion, and kindness. We can feel his sincere desire for good for all. That feeling of wanting good for all is a peaceful one, a loving one and one that we can nurture each day through our commitment to peace.
We can step away from all noise and news and sit or walk in silence. Peace thrives in silence. Each time we allow ourselves a “time out for peace,” we strengthen our inner peace and have more peace to share with others.
We each have a reservoir within our hearts where peace waits patiently for us to listen, to connect and to allow its wisdom and serenity to silence our minds. As we allow inner silence day after day, we strengthen and expand our inner reservoir of peace.
Thank you for choosing peace in your thoughts, words, and actions.
Yours in peace and love always,
Donna
